a. One winner per household and one winner per immediate family. This includes one’s parents, spouse, children and siblings.
2. Eligibility Restrictions:
a. The contest is open to all who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania area. Employees of WCBS-FM, its licensee, its corporate parent Viacom Incorporated, Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, and their affiliate entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors / promotional partners, other radio stations in the tri-state area and members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Listeners are eligible to win one WCBS-FM/JACK-FM.COM contest only once every thirty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
c. Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $600 or more only once every 90 days.
d. To enter on-line you must enter your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid e-mail address in the on-line entry form. One Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per e-mail address. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible by assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. WCBS-FM does not sell, lease, exchange or disclose your personally identifiable information with third party non-affiliated persons other than our sponsors or partners, unless it is required by law, or disclosure is necessary to those persons that operate our website, manage our contests/events and conduct prize fulfillment and to protect the safety of our visitors, employees, or property. WCBS-FM expects our operational providers to protect your privacy. WCBS-FM contests, sweepstakes and special events are often produced with the support of non-affiliated sponsors and/or promotional partners. The personally identifiable information contestants voluntarily provide on our website may also be used for the marketing of additional events, services, and goods by WCBS-FM, our parent company and affiliated stations, and our sponsors or partners. Please be informed that our sponsors or promotional partners may not have the same privacy policies that we do. If you do not wish to receive such additional marketing information from WCBS-FM and/or our sponsors and partners, you should check the boxes so indicated in the contest registration area. However, WCBS-FM maintains the right to disclose any and all database collected by websites in the event that the assets or stock of WCBS-FM, or its corporate licensee or parent company are sold or transferred. WCBS-FM may provide aggregate stations about our contestants traffic patterns and related website information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will not include personally identifying information.
e. Contestants are also required to provide truthful information and we will reject and delete any entry (mail-in or Internet) that we discover to be false or fraudulent.
3. Prizes:
a. Winners will be contacted by WCBS-FM.
b. Contest prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
4. Selection of Winners:
a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
b. One winner per household.
5. Conditions:
a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners and travel companion, if any, agree to have their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, without additional financial or other compensation and to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Contest winners and their travel companion(s), if any, will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued $600.00 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by WCBS-FM. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold WCBS-FM, its corporate licensee, parent corporation, Viacom, Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. WCBS-FM, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the WCBS-FM/JACK-FM web sites or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
6. WCBS-FM reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
7. No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
8. Failure to comply with contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification at the sole discretion of WCBS-FM.
9. WCBS-FM is not responsible for any air traffic or other travel delays, cancellations, postponements or rescheduling due to any problem beyond its control.
